Handmade, V-Neck, Back Zip, Lined, Resale Condition: Very Good- Only Missing Buttons on Wrist area of Sleeves
SKU:
$
This Unique, Handmade 1960's A-Line Mod Dress features a Light blue & White with green accents, a V-shaped neckline, Long-sleeves, and a centerd back-seam zipper.
Depending on your height, the hemline should hit right at or just above the knee.
This one-of-a-kind dress also has a fully lined body but no sleeve lining to give a light-weight, semi-transparent effect.
It would make a great addition to a vintage-lover's wardrobe, and would be perfect for everyday or festival wear, as well as a themed 1960's-Era Party or even Halloween!
There is not a fabric info/care/sizing tag since it was handmade. The material feels like a cotton blend, and my best estimate on sizing is a Medium/Large. If you are curious on the fit or measurements of this dress please contact us & we can send measurements, or come on into the store to try it on!
Resale Condition and Pricing info:
This Dress is in Very Good resale conditon, has been dry-cleaned, and is free of rips/holes/tears, smells & stains (there is some minor discoloration on the inside/inner lining near the back zipper, but cannot be seen on the outside of the dress when worn). The only things to note are: 1) That the buttons on the sleeves (wrist area) are missing and may need to be replaced/sewn, depending on fit prefernce, as well as 2) One of the side belt string loops needs to be re-attached on one side of the dress, or cut both off-a super easy fix! Belt is not included, but would look good with a belt of your choice, or worn without.
Much Research has gone into the pricing of this Frock, comparing it to similar handmade dresses from this era.
Dresses like this one sell regularly at Vintage stores and on Ebay for a lower-end average of around $78.00, but I have priced this beauty to sell for $42.00 to account for the missing sleeve buttons and belt/belt loop repair or removal.
Procurement:
As a former Photography Wardrobe Stylist, This dress has been in my curated collection of Vintage Clothing for at least 2 decades. It was purchased as an option for a job I worked on, but never actually worn in the time that I have owned it, and has been dry-cleaned. I had hoped it would one day fit me, but just never has fit quite right so I'm hoping someone else can give it new life and enjoy wearing it instead of it just hanging on a rack.
